Vehicles in Germany's Town Found Marked with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Authorities stated they were notified by a man who found a vehicle in Hanau covered with red-colored liquid

Approximately fifty vehicles have been marked with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the German municipality of Hanau near Frankfurt, according to law enforcement.

Automobiles, exterior walls and postal boxes were defaced, sometimes with swastikas, they stated in a official communication.

Law enforcement report they were contacted late on Wednesday evening, when a resident discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been covered with a reddish-hued substance.

The substance had been drawn in the pattern of a banned symbol, they added.

Law enforcement then found many other marked vehicles and building exteriors in the adjacent neighborhood.

Nazi symbols are banned in Germany under laws banning the visible presentation of Nazi symbols.

Police state initial examinations show the substance was probably blood from a person.

"At present there remains no lead as to its source; authorities are not yet informed of any injuries in association with the incident," they commented.

Municipal representatives stated they were trying "to unravel the mystery" and have requested to the residents for details.

An important official commented the attack left him speechless and needed to be solved promptly.

"This act hits the core of Hanau and reawakens the wounds of the far-right terrorist attack in 2020," he posted on social media, recalling the killing of nine victims by a shooter targeting people of migrant background in February 2020.
